• 680 EVACUEES SHELTERED (in state facilities) being moved on 9/9/21 back to Jefferson Parish. Each evacuee will assess whether their home is livable; &, if not, they will be brought to shelters managed by RED CROSS.

~No Standing Fires.
~DAILY provision of 1 oxygen tank per person, at local fire stations until power is restored. WEST BANK FIRE STATIONS ARE OPEN.

~CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING has gone down, partly due to less generators being place indoors w/some ppl having restored electricity: also detectors are being distributed.
•¹LAW ENFORCEMENT REPORT (R.P.). Curfew extended. Asking the public to report crimes. Law Enforcement has obtained property retrieved from burglars & looters. If you are an evacuee & learn your home has been burglarized, you are urged to report that. This will help the burglary dept piece together other crimes that may be related to yours.
