Installed Antivirus & Virus Cleaner, Applock, Clean, Booster app an hour ago on 9/2/21 on my phone, and already my app lock situation is better and my Play Store Services is now acting normal.
Also, my apps had been showing last week accessive mbs in many apps' sizes & that has bern been remedied, as well...just by using this app's scanner & app lock. Awesome!!!
But, the app scan never showed any viruses, even though this app fixed multiple issues, without notification that it resolved issues.
I am not complaining, because now I do not have to factory reset.
I had tried different apps to repair Google Play Services, but none could tackle the issue I experienced in August 2021, e.g.
My GOOGLE PLAY SERVICES was force stopped & disabled with NO WAY TO RESET IT. When I tried to uninstall/reinstall, the app at GOOGLE PLAY STORE, it only showed a button to DEACTIVATE. I couldn't deactivate because GOOGLE PLAY SERVICES is a device administrator. Every attempt I made to remove it as a device administrator was futile, while actively creating a new situation. Whenever I tried clearing the app's cache & data, ALL PERMISSIONS for the app would click back ON, e.g. microphone, body sensor, etc.
Had to share this app! I noted multiple ppl at GOOGLE PLAY STORE in the app's reviews had GOOGLE PLAY SERVICES issues.
The email ALONE provided on that GOOGLE PLAY SERVICES app on GOOGLE PLAY STORE is not monitored, per GOOGLE. After GOOGLE emailed that notification, GOOGLE gave me the Google support address, which is not live chat but mostly leading to their forum for solutions.So, it makes you feel helpless when you can't reach an app's live support team or when you can't get email response other than an automated email.
But, another option I could have taken was to do a live chat at GOOGLE PLAY STORE about the GOOGLE PLAY SERVICES app. I did get support from GOOGLE in the past through that option, re another app.
I also checked online fixes for GOOGLE PLAY SERVICES & found alot of info on releases.
I had recently received an update on my device in late August, which had not corrected my Google Play Services issues. So, I did not find much usefulness from the online search for fixes.
